Hi! My name is Miss Dickson and I am going to be your fifth grade teacher! This will be my first year teaching at West Kearns Elementary, but my fifth year teaching. I have taught 4th, 5th and 6th grade. I love 5th grade the best, and all the exploring, learning and fun we get to have.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from BYU-Idaho and an endorsement in English as a Second Language. I am currently getting another endorsement in technology. I love learning and trying new things to make your learning better!
I grew up in a small town north of Seattle, Washington called Arlington. I love to go visit when I can, even though none of my family lives there anymore. I am the youngest of seven kids. I have five brothers, one sister, and a lot of nieces and nephews. I love to spend time with them when I can.
This summer I got to travel around the United States. I was able to visit New York and go to Niagara Falls. I also visited Seattle, Island Park and some National Parks in Southern Utah.
I can’t wait to spend this year learning and growing with you!
